Costco has officially confirmed a one-month-old rumor that the wholesale club will officially change Pepsi about Coca-Cola products in its food courts, causing excitement among some of its clients.
“This summer, we will convert our Fountain Court of Fountain Fountain back to Coca-Cola,” CEO of Costco Ron Vachris said during the annual meeting of the company’s shareholders on Thursday.
Rumors that Costco will exchange its source drinks were first reported by Costco Insider last month.
“After more than a decade, Costco is turning from Pepsi to Coke products in their stores,” Costco Insider said in a post on Instagram. “Change will bring Coke, Coke zero and diet Coke, as well as sprite instead of the star.”
Fox Business reached Costco for comment, but they did not respond immediately.
The new change is reported to undo a previous 2013 decision that changed the Coca-Cola products of the Pepsi store.

According to Costco Insider, the 2013 circuit breaker was “a cost saving measure to keep their famous Hot Dog and Soda dog.”
Costco hot dog prices, often praised to remain so affordable over the years, has not been reported to have changed since the 1980s.
Last year, the CFA Gary Millerchip also ensured that Costco hot dog prices are expected to remain the same, Fox Business reported at the time.

“I also want to confirm that the price of the dog hot of $ 1.50 is safe,” Millerchip said during a quarter -month -old profits last May.
While some fans of Pepsi expressed their disappointment in the new exchange, many clients shared their excitement for Coke’s perspective returning to the food courts.
Matt West, Costco Insider editor, told Fox News Digital last month that the publication received a survey among their followers, and “87% preferred Coke over Pepsi,“ suggesting that wholesale customers were in favor of the change.
“Better not be a December folly, so help me God,” one user wrote in a Redit thread last month.
“I don’t even get the cup when I get the hot dog! I will be very happy if they go to Coca-Cola, ”posted another redditor.
