Seven in 10 Americans will support a mobile phone ban in schools, according to new research.
News that Texas will vote for a nationwide ban on cell equipment, a new study of 2,000 Americans without only 29% say they will not support the stopping of mobile phones in schools with 71% in favor.
54% advocate for detention in elementary schools, with the feeling that reduces the elderly is a child; 49% for high school and 45% for stopping phones in high schools.
The survey, conducted by Talker Research, without the biggest reason to support a ban is the concern to distract him in lessons and affecting education (78%), followed by general concern that children are in very long equipment in general (72%).
Many also quoted increased fear for online attacks (47% of stop supports), while the increasing concern for those used to mislead or teach the shortcut was also a factor for 45%.
The biggest reason for people not to support stopping was the feeling that a parent should be able to contact their child at any time (58%).
The younger one respondent was, the less likely to support any mobile phone ban; 41% of General Z would be against a ban against 26% of children’s boomers.
Over a quarter of non-Ban supporters (27%) think that a child is entitled to their equipment, while 13% think it should not be ‘everything or nothing’ when it comes to using the device and education.
In fact, only eight percent of the 2,000 children felt surveyed should be allowed unlimited access to phones at school.
The most common solution was that phones were able to be used only at lunch, free periods or rest time – supported by 56% of respondents.
11% felt phones should only be used for educational purposes, while 19% are advocated for a complete ban on school equipment as the best strategy.
When asked if people thought that the implementation of technology that blocks mobile phone or signals during class, 54% of 2,000 would be in favor. Eighteen percent were unsafe and 28% will not support this.
Interestingly, parents with a child attending elementary school were less likely to support some type of elementary school prohibition (40% versus 54% of the entire sample).
This trend of parents with a child in that age group that does not support such active prohibition that the entire survey sample continues with the age with high school parents (39% in favor of 49% of the whole sample) and the parents of the school of the school medium (34 % vs 45 % sample) less likely to support a stop of the device that would affect their baby.
In contrast, whose parents had completed their education were higher than the average in supporting equipment stops in all age groups.
