Ohio Graeter -based ice cream brand announced on Friday, January 24 that its newest aroma, Skyline Spice, is a collaboration with another icon of Cincinnati, Skyline Chili.
“This strange but wonderful creation combines the handmade French cooker ice cream with seafood and mixing the Skyline signature spices, offering the best of both worlds from these two dear eateries Cincinnati, ”said a press release from Graeter.
“All those who know Chili know Skyline and, as long as long fans, we were looking forward to cooperating with a scent of one kind,” said Richard Graeter, fourth generation president and CEO I CEO Graeter’s ice cream in press notice.
He continued, “last year, speculation about our unconventional and somewhat polarizing partnership began a rage in social media. We have spent months perfecting the recipe and we are extremely happy to confirm that rumors are true – and the aroma will surprise you . “
The aroma is “sweet, delicious and unlike everything that ice cream or burning lovers have enjoyed before,” the release said.
Skyline Chili is known for its “secret recipe” Chili and its unique products, including its “3-direction”.
“3-kahh”, which Skyline Chili’s website calls “signature plate”, contains “Spaghetti steaming covered with our original secret secret chili and topped with a tumulus chopped cheese”.
Skyline Chili has never done a dessert collaboration before, said Dick Williams, the chairman and CEO of Skyline Chili in the release.

“Graeter’s Skyline Spice ice cream has the heart and soul of both beloved brands born in Midwest in every bite,” Williams said.
Graeter’s Skyline Spice Ice cream will be available for a limited time in Skyline restaurants, Graeter SCOOP stores as well as “Choose Croger shops throughout cincinnati; columbus, ohio; indianapolis; and Louisville,” starting from January 27, the release said.
Fans of Skyline Chili and/or Graeter ice cream who do not live in these markets can buy an online pint for transport nationwide, the release said.
